Nutty chocolate coconut no bake snack bites

You're only four ingredients, five minutes and a food processor away from these healthy nutty chocolate coconut snack bites.

Nutty chocolate and pecan no bake snack bites

With Halloween just around the corner and frightened by stories from of trick-or-treaters arriving by the busload in our new neighborhood, I have a cabinet full of giant bags of snack-sized candy that are screaming out my name.

I can hear them in my sleep: "Eat meeeeeeeeee. I'm yummmmmmmmy. I'm sweeeeeeeeeet."

Little devils! So what's a Ninj with little willpower to do?

Healthy No-bake Snack Bites

Make a healthy sweet snack to stop the voices, that's what.

Nutty no bake chocolate and coconut snack bites with pecans

I came across this recipe for no-bake (yippee!!) snack bites in an article featuring seasonal pecan recipes. If you prefer walnuts or some other type of nut, I'm sure they'd be just as good in this chocolatey treat.

Four Ingredients + Five Minutes = A Healthy, Nutty, Chocolatey Snack

There are only four ingredients in these no-bake snack bites: pecans, unsweetened chocolate, unsweetened coconut and dates. That's it! All good-for-you stuff, whirled around for a few minutes in a food processor, shaped into bite-sized balls and chilled.

What kind of sweet treat could be easier than that?

("MEEEEEEEEE," cries the tiny Kit Kat. Shut up, Tiny Kit Kat.)

What's your favorite way to keep the Halloween candy in the bag, where it belongs, and out of your mouth during October? Leave a comment: The Ninj wants to know.
