But now that I recall my MIL used to make something I loved that was probably rice pudding, or at least rice pudding-y. I'll have to give this a try! I love the idea of using the canning jars, I never would have thought of that. He also doesn't like brown rice but I thought well it has brown sugar and I added 2 tablespoons of pure Grade B maple syrup and if he asked why its brown that I wouldn't be fibbing that its because of the ingredients. He tasted and didn't like the texture. So, too bad too sad I loved it and had one for lunch and will have for breakfast. The texture kinda reminds be of grapenut pudding and of course the brown rice has a nutty flavor as well. Yummm!
